A handwritten sticker on the ROM chip says "FINAL", which probably means that this is the final version of the ROM. Interesting fact is that the final ROM version is dated 1-20-83, so the machines shown at the '83 Winter CES in Las Vegas (Jan 6 - Jan 9) did not have the final ROM installed, whereby I am not sure if they showed a fully working console on the fair actually.
