Interton VC 4000 and relatives - CART LIST

This is an effort to list all games for the Interton VC 4000 and related systems as well as to show the relations between these systems and their games.

Many thanks go out to Sylvain de Chantal in Canada for the "raw form" of this list. Make sure to visit his Phoenix Video Games Classics website! Another must for Interton collectors is the website Arcadia 2001, maintained by Ward Shrake, with great info on the relationship between the Emerson Arcadia group of systems and the Interton VC 4000 group of systems. Also thanks to Adrian Scheel. Visit his Pong Picture Page. Thanks a lot also to Michael Davidson from New Sealand.

We need your help! Please contact us if ...
... you find any errors in the lists lower down
... you know the title of any of the red written games at the bottom of the list marked with "???"
... you can relate any of the red written games at the bottom of the games list lower down to the corresponding Interton game
(group 1). If you own any of the red written games, please compare it to the screenshots on our Interton VC 4000 games page
(click on a game on the Interton VC 4000 games page to go to the page with the corresponding screen shot).
... you have any of those games for sale or trade. Maybe we can need them for our reference collection. We have a complete
collection of the group 1 games, but we still need most of the games from groups 2 - 6.

* Only known cart owned by UK Collector David Elvin. Described as a Pac-Man Clone and definitely different to Munch & Crunch. New Sealand collector Michael Davidson suspects that this game might be the same as Rowtron cart #26 Monster Munchers.

** Michael Davidson had eMail conversations with Derek Andrews who wrote Leap Frog and Munch And Crunch. He cannot recall knowing about Crazy Crab but confirms that cart #28 Starship Protector was his unreleased Defender Clone.

*** Michael Davidson owns a boxed copy of this game. He writes: "The DIN socket is for connecting it to a tape recorder to load/save your programs. The box has twice the depth of a normal box. It's is very complicated and unlike some like 2600 Basic Programming - this is basically a low level dev system. Everything is done in Assembler (incl loading / saving to tape!). The book is thick and extremely in depth and has in depth chip specs etc. Not something an amateur would get any enjoyment from at all - no wonder it's so rare! (Not to myself: Pictures of this unit are on my harddisk - for including after relaunch of CCC website).
